Why you should use the Link Building Tool

Link building is the process of generating links pointing to your website. These links are used by search engines to discover your website and decide how high it will rank in search results. So with link building being one of the most significant aspects of SEO, you’ll want to capitalize on any possible opportunity to gain new quality backlinks. You will be able to find these opportunities as well as track any links that you do gain.

Deleting and updating a Link Building campaign

Normally when you want to delete a specific SEO Project tool, you will have to delete the whole project. This will remove all of the other campaigns set up in the Project.

Projects cannot be recovered once they are deleted so it's important to be careful when deleting a project. Only delete a project if you are 100 percent sure because all of your data will be gone forever.

However, the Link Building tool does allow you to restart your campaign without deleting your entire Project. You can do this by clicking on the green update prospects dropdown menu in the top right corner of the Prospects dashboard.

This will give you the option to update your prospects with our current settings (the campaign will simply re-collect prospects) or restart your link-building campaign completely (which will bring you to the settings menu).

Limits

The Link Building Tool is part of the SEO Toolkit.

Importing Links

If you have any paid level of the SEO Toolkit subscription, you can import up to 10,000 domains into the Link Building Tool. If you're using the free version of Semrush or are subscribed to a toolkit other than the SEO Toolkit, you can import up to 100 domains into a Link Building Tool campaign.

Gmail

When you connect a Gmail account to this tool to conduct outreach, you will be limited to no more than 500 emails sent per day from the connected account. Please refer to Google’s Limits for sending & getting mail guidelines for more information about the limits of emails you can send.

This limit is distributed between all of your Projects where you have the same email connected to a Link Building Tool or Backlink Audit campaign.
